Coach and Minibus Hire for Royal Ascot
The royal meeting runs for five days in 2027, from Tuesday 15 June to Saturday the 19th. The racecourse sets separate rules for coaches, minibuses and taxis, so the size of vehicle decides where the group gets off.
Coaches: Car Park 8 or 10
During Royal Ascot week, coaches are kept off Ascot High Street by traffic-flow restrictions. Their set-down and parking is in Car Park 8 or 10. Paying on the day depends on space, and the racecourse strongly advises booking ahead.
Pre-booking closes about a week before each race day: 7 June for the Tuesday, running through to 11 June for the Saturday. Settle numbers and vehicle size before then.

Minibuses up to 16 seats
Minibuses are treated differently. If it has 16 seats or fewer, the driver's seat included, it can drop the group at the Car Park 3 taxi rank, just past the entrance. That caps the party at 15, and saves the walk from the coach parks.
Royal Enclosure guests have their own set-down, at Car Park 1 or 3. A group split across enclosures may need two set-down points; tell us at booking.

Food and the driver's day
If the group plans to eat in the coach park, keep it cold. No barbecue and nothing hot, anywhere on racecourse land, parking areas included.
With a PCV or PSV licence and the day's work docket, a coach driver can pick up a free Heath Enclosure ticket. The driver is still on duty, and the drive home comes at the end of a long day.
Questions
Can the coach drop us on the High Street?
No. Coaches are not allowed down the High Street during the meeting; they use Car Park 8 or 10.
Is there Blue Badge parking?
Yes. Blue Badge spaces are set aside, and the racecourse recommends reserving one before the week.
Would the train be easier?
Waterloo to Ascot is about 52 minutes by rail, and the station is 7 minutes on foot from the course. For a group, the coach keeps everyone together and brings them back to the door they left from.
