East Midlands Airport coach transfers: the booked coach bay
East Midlands Airport has a dedicated bay for private hire coaches, but every coach has to be booked in ahead of time. The airport does not publish where the bay is, so the operator's briefing matters.
Booking the coach in
Booking in is the operator's job, and it needs the date, the time and the vehicle. Send flight details as early as you can so there is time to arrange it.

The city council lists six coach drop-off points, strictly for setting down and picking up with no waiting. Mount Street is nearest the castle and the Trip to Jerusalem pub. Belward Street faces Motorpoint Arena. Give the operator the venue so the driver uses the right one.

Goose Fair fills the Forest Recreation Ground for ten days every autumn, as September turns to October, and roads north of the centre clog while it runs. Test matches at Trent Bridge and games at the City Ground, both by the Trent, are worth checking against your dates too. Build slack into the timings.

Airport hotels at Castle Donington suit early departures. If a group's flights land at Birmingham instead, that airport is about 55 miles from Nottingham, about an hour.
