Coach Travel to Britain's Big Events in 2027
Four events where getting a coach close to the gate takes planning. Each page sets out the dates, where coaches may drop off and what the venue expects.
Book early, and expect to walk
Royal Ascot runs 15 to 19 June 2027; coaches are barred from Ascot High Street that week and set down in Car Park 8 or 10. The Wimbledon Championships take over from 28 June until 11 July. The British Grand Prix at Silverstone is 2 to 4 July, and the circuit has no drop-off point of its own. The Edinburgh Festival Fringe fills the city from 6 to 30 August.
Travel arrangements are set by each venue and can change year to year, so treat them as current plans to confirm. Ask for a quote early, before operators commit their vehicles elsewhere.
