Coach Transfers to Britain's Cruise Terminals

Five ports, each with its own approach roads and arrival rules. A coach moves the whole party and its luggage between the terminal, an airport, a station or a hotel.

Timing matters more than distance

Cruise terminals ask groups to turn up in their allocated arrival window, not early. Southampton has five terminals spread across two docks, entered by different dock gates, so the coach needs the right terminal name. From central London, Dover is a road trip of roughly 75-80 miles. The Liverpool terminal sits in the city centre. Greenock serves Glasgow from about 24 miles away, and the Port of Tyne is at North Shields, east of Newcastle.

Fly-cruise groups need the widest margin: Heathrow to Southampton is about 68 miles, and traffic can stretch it.

Questions

What details does a cruise transfer need?

The ship, the terminal, your allocated arrival or disembarkation time, and the flight or train at the other end.

Is there room for luggage?

A full-size coach has underfloor lockers. Tell us the bag count so the operator can size the vehicle.

Can one booking cover both ends of the cruise?

Yes. Send both dates and we ask for one quote covering embarkation and the return.
